Principal Message

Lake Louise Principal Travis Holmgren

Dear Lake Louise Families,

As we enjoy the warmer weather and activities leading towards the end of the year, it’s important to remember that many of our students are currently taking end of year assessments such as the SBA. Please help to keep your students well rested and prepared for school each day as they do their best! At Lake Louise, we stress that students remain "Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Learn" as they advance towards the next grade level. This means getting plenty of sleep each night, making sure that they are reading at home for at least 20 minutes each day and finishing up any work that may have been assigned. Be sure to also ask your students how their day went and what's going on at school! These important daily conversations mean a lot in maintaining a connection to the home / school partnership!

The first week of June will be Camp Cougar Week at Lake Louise with lots of great events such as Career Day! This informative event which includes over 20 professionals will allow students to learn about someone’s work and ask questions about a possible future profession as they grow up! We are excited about the last few weeks of school as we look forward to wishing our fifth graders good luck in Middle School and the upcoming Summer months.

Sincerely,

Travis Holmgren
